Halloween is one of the bigger events at Alter Aeon, with monsters, demons,
pumpkins and prizes for everyone. Several hundred people participated in
the 2011 Halloween party, which involved area openings, pk arena contests,
two pumpkin cannons, a scavenger hunt, and a special invasion area for
players to explore.
All participants received a special deed, as well as any prizes or additional
loot obtained from the quests and areas. Winners of some specific events
also received custom prizes.

Saturday, Oct 29, 2011 - Schedule of Events
This Halloween Weekend started early Saturday morning, when Morpheus' new
'nightmare plane' area was opened to the public. This huge new zone, years
in the making, adds half a dozen new quests, over a hundred new creatures,
and several hundred new items to the game.
This is a very high level area containing 'endgame' content, and the entrance to this new area is in the hidden passages under the Island of Seriphus. It is highly recommended that players be at least level 30 prior to entering, and grouping is also recommended.

For the first part of Sunday's events, a number of PK arenas were set up
throughout the day for various level ranges. The top three winners

Monday, Oct 31, 2011 - Schedule of Events
Early in the morning, a portal opened up south of Ralnoth! This portal led
to the demon realm, where the demon prince Zankous was planning an invasion
of the town. Groups of players entered the realm to try to defeat Zankous,
while others remained behind to stem the tide of encroaching demons.
Between the waves of attacks from the demon armies, there were several scavenger hunts. For each hunt, a large number of pumpkins and jack-o-lanterns were placed in various locations on the game. Some of these contained random prizes, including an epic piece of unique equipment. A very large number of players received these prizes, and will not be listed here for the sake of brevity.

With the defeat of Zankous and closing of the invasion portal, victory was declared. To mark the end of the day and the closing of the event, a final free for all contest was held in the PK arena:
