Ouch: Do you have any opening comments for the readers before we start?
Rydia: Not really.
Ouch: I have about 20 questions for you and I'll spin off some more as we progress along the interview, depending on your answers.
Rydia: Okay, go for it.
Rydia: Hah!
Rydia: Well that is a good question.
Rydia: I have been treated very unfairly in this game many times.
Rydia: Like when Dentin forces me to remove all and kill thantos.
Rydia: Or when Dentin transfers me to Lux.
Rydia: I have been put into rooms where I can't do anything. Can't even recall, just rot away.
Rydia: As seen in my quote file, Draak has a little stick he taps and it puts you in a TIMEOUT.
Rydia: The timeout room is not where you want to be.
Ouch: Why not?
Rydia: Its pretty much purgatory.
Rydia: You aren't doing shit.
Ouch: How often does Dentin come after you like that?
Rydia: Well it depends on my behavior.
Rydia: Like or his mood.
Rydia: Lol, but hmmmm.
Rydia: It depends on what I do. Some things really piss Dentin off.
Ouch: Did you ever really, really, piss him off?
Rydia: Hahaha yeah.

Ouch: What did you do when you found out your favorite character, Vivi, was deleted for killing another player?
Rydia: As in my reaction?
Rydia: Or what led to it?
Ouch: If you are up to it, both :) And your feelings about the whole thing...
Rydia: Well, heh. It's a sad story.
Rydia: I was about to leave for the night.
Rydia: When I decided, wow, this guy Mike is really a dick and is pissing me off. Let's summon him to the cute little griffins.
Rydia: I was totally telling Zhiun and Stara like haha omg I'm gonna summon Mike and they were like omg omg ...
Rydia: And of course, I did it and he freaked out. What I did not expect was to wake up with no more Vivi.
Rydia: I offered to pay him not to report me and he did.
Ouch: I heard you were actually trying to impress some chick and you killed him just to show some chick how cool you were ??
Rydia: That my friend, is a rumor. I don't do online dating.
Rydia: Look.
Rydia: For some reason mudding really excites me.
Rydia: I am a happy person and I joke around and laugh a lot.
Rydia: The stuff people do and say on this game makes me laugh so much.
Rydia: When I say "rofl" I usually am "rolling on the floor laughing" in a way. I'm not actually on the floor but I am laughing my ass off.
Ouch: Like what makes you laugh?
Rydia: Quote boards.
Rydia: Freaking hilarious what people say.
Ouch: Also, you offered to pay Mike more then you had in the bank - according to the log - What would you have told him if he had agreed to get paid what you were offering?
Rydia: I didn't offer him more than I had, and I offered him something really small.
Rydia: In your Dentin interview, I thought it was insanely funny when Dentin was talking about how the code can work on its own and adapt.
Rydia: Like how he ended up auctioning himself, but the way he described it in all the little steps, like how he was in his pocket looking at himself.
Rydia: And auctioning it and hopping out.
Rydia: Lol I think it was funny when Ball said the following:

Rydia: I had well over 15 million at that time.

Ouch: What would you have done if he had accepted the money?
Rydia: Had Vivi still.
Rydia: Lol
Rydia: ... been really high in levels by now.
Ouch: Rofl
Ouch: I heard a rumour Dentin was going to restore Vivi if you do good your first year in college. Is this true?
Rydia: Well, he told me if I showed him proof of GETTING into college, he would restore Vivi.
Rydia: Then sometime later he said if you have good grades. So I am kind of confused.
Ouch: So you're saying you should have had Vivi back already?
Rydia: Yes.
Rydia: According to his first words on the deal, yes.
Ouch: Wow!
Ouch: Who are your closest friends in the game?
Rydia: Watery/Ball, Raa...
Rydia: Tread.
Rydia: Those are my best, best, friends on the game.
Rydia: I am close with a lot of players, more than you would expect.
Ouch: Like what percentage of the game?
Rydia: Like 30/65 we could say.
Rydia: CLOSE friends, not just people using me.
Rydia: 45% or so.
Ouch: Do you have anyone you consider an enemy?
Rydia: Well I only hate people for about half a second and unignore them :P I wouldn't even say hate either, JUST annoy me for a second.
Rydia: I don't even hate Mike, the one who got me deleted.
Rydia: In fact, he is in my clan and we are pretty good friends.
Ouch: Your character Alton still has me on ignore - its been 4 months dude !
Rydia: Well, I don't use alton.
Ouch: Why did you put me on ignore?
Rydia: And actually Samon had control of Alton, he created an Alton and Dentin gave me control of the character. He ignored you.
Rydia: I totally laughed in Dentin's face.
Rydia: Just a little comment out of nowhere. Check out Ball's and Samon's clan site, you will die laughing.
Ouch: No bro, you got mad about something you had done... I was on your case for encasing my fellow clan mate in ice and letting people take turns killing him!
Rydia: Lol, sounds like fun, but I don't recall that :(
Rydia: Well, you are unignored now.
Ouch: That day, you said you were tryinng to dispell him to save his life??

Ouch: What's the coolest thing about AA?
Rydia: Hmmm.
Rydia: Like things you can do?
Ouch: - Yeah - I mean you obviously love the game.
Rydia: I really do Ouch.
Rydia: I haven't been able to play so I read the posts on the board from the website.
Rydia: I really like the idea of having an AA t-shirt.
Rydia: I would wear it :)
Ouch: Why can't you play? And what do you think is the coolest thing about the game?
Rydia: I think there are many great things about this game.
Rydia: I like the players, the areas, just everything.
Rydia: I don't think I could place a favorite thing, just it's all great in general.
Ouch: How is it better then other games?
Rydia: The people, the way the gods don't really abuse powers that much, and I like how it's original and doesn't over abuse colors.
Rydia: Back to why I can't play. Both (2) of my laptops were stolen from my house by my roommate's friend.
Rydia: So I am working on it. I managed to get a computer, but I need wireless internet. So I am working on getting a wireless hub, or just buying internet.
Ouch: Did you file a police report?
Rydia: No, I didn't. I didn't know what to do.
Rydia: If you knew the circumstances you would understand. This guy who stole it, is seriously crazy.
Rydia: I know who did it.
Rydia: He shot a mexican dude behind my complex in the back with a real arrow.
Rydia: And tried to steal his money.
Ouch: Are you afraid of him?
Rydia: He doesn't care if he goes to jail.
Rydia: We are kind of friends, only because yes, I kind of am.
Rydia: He wouldn't hesitate to kill me, like honestly.
Ouch: how many people has he killed already?
Rydia: Lol, I wouldn't doubt if he has killed 3.
Rydia: I don't know.
Ouch: Why is that funny?
Rydia: Haha, because it's just funny how there are people that crazy out there.
Rydia: And because I like to keep a cheery attitude. I laugh and smile a lot.
Ouch: Of all your multis, which one do you prefer to be called?
Rydia: Definitely Vivi.
Ouch: Why so?
Rydia: I like, no LOVE, to be called Vivi.
Rydia: It is my favorite video game character of all time.
Rydia: And I just like it.
Rydia: Vivi had an immaculate player killing record.
Ouch: By immaculate, you mean no deaths?
Rydia: Only 1 mid and 1 low death.
Rydia: Because Keiser's multi and Killo's multi used a scroll of assassination on me.
Rydia: Of course, I had some high deaths, but not many.
Rydia: Rydia has the most high kills IN THE GAME.
Ouch: Is A.A. a lot more fun with permanent player killing?
Rydia: Haha yeah.
Ouch: Can you elaborate for us non-ppk ?
Rydia: You see someone in the room when you walk by with sense life and you FLIP OUT!
Rydia: My heart starts racing when I see a ppker in my area, trying to be sneaky.
Rydia: And when I am preparing to attack...
Rydia: ... being all sneaky.
Ouch: How many multis on the asshole list are actually your characters?
Rydia: I think on the top 50, the last count of mine was 13.
Ouch: Can you confirm the top six assholes currently listed on the asshole list are all yours?
Rydia: Yes, last I checked, top 6 were all mine.
Ouch: Do you deliberately try to get high up on the asshole list?
Rydia: Heh. No.
Rydia: If I make a new character, it's in the top in like a day.
Ouch: You have a reputation for paying highly people who team with you and help you get items. Is this true?
Rydia: Yes, but I don't tell them I am going to pay them usually.
Rydia: I just say thanks man here and just give them the gold or items.
Rydia: Unless I send people off on missions, which I do a lot.
Rydia: I say, "do this and that and ill give you X amount of gold".
Ouch: Like how much you generally pay? Give me some examples.
Rydia: Hundreds of thousands.
Rydia: Well most of my missions are highly secret.
Rydia: But hmmm.
Rydia: Say I want to have an item run...
Rydia: I just pay %1 to do %2 for me.
Rydia: Hmmm.
Ouch: So you pay 50% of the item worth?
Rydia: No, actually sometimes I pay like 300% of its worth.
Rydia: Sometimes, I get really desperate and impatient and I offer outrageous amounts for items.
Rydia: Like one night, I really wanted steel gear.
Rydia: I offered 100k per un-enchanted steel piece.
Rydia: And I bought like 13 pieces.
Ouch: Who is your favorite socialite?
Rydia: Well I haven't checked the list recently.
Rydia: If Tread or Watery or Raa are there, it would be them.
Ouch: Why do you like them so much?
Rydia: Hold a sec.
Rydia: Most people wouldn't understand...
Rydia: ... the kind of friendship that we have.
Ouch: That's why I am asking.
Rydia: Hmmm.
Ouch: Please explain for the readers.
Rydia: I don't know, it is kind of like the unconditional love thing (no homo).
Rydia: But we are all like really secretive and I don't know, it's just one of those things that just is.
Rydia: Tread and I joke around a lot.
Ouch: As in... You guys are friends no matter what you do to each other? No matter what?
Rydia: When I first met Tread, he never liked to talk to anyone or group or anything.
Rydia: One day, out of nowhere, he says "Hey, Vivi, I want to join your clan."
Rydia: So I let him in and we are like little friends and he has his little room and we collect shroom imps together and watch them dance.
Rydia: And now he groups with people and stuff.
Rydia: I taught him a lot.
Rydia: He is really intelligent and he knows like every single area.
Rydia: He documents typos on like every single room.
Ouch: So you helped him increase his people skills?
Rydia: Yep.
Rydia: The people that really know me know that I'm not REALLY an asshole.
Rydia: I just have a thick barrier before I open up to people.
Ouch: Who is your favorite god? Why?
Rydia: Shadowfax.
Rydia: He is my god, and he is just awesome.
Rydia: I like his areas, and he's funny and very creative.
Rydia: But yeah, we are friends no matter what.
Ouch: Why do so many gods dislike you?
Rydia: A lot of the gods that say they dislike me actually don't... lol... It's just publically.
Ouch: What do you mean?
Rydia: But I think they are jealous really.
Rydia: Like Void might say he hates me publically, but we are like little buddies I guess you could say otherwise (not that deep).
Rydia: We exchange Youtube videos like all the time and laugh and stuff.
Rydia: Its just good times.
Ouch: Can you name a few gods who pretend to like you but really love you deep inside?
Rydia: Lol, maybe Void.
Ouch: Who else?
Rydia: Draak hates me because he loved me when he thought I was a girl and now he hates me for ever for that.
Rydia: Hmmm.
Rydia: I think Dentin...
Ouch: Are you saying Draak was *in love* with you?
Rydia: Pretty much, although he would deny it now.
Rydia: He made me my own room and mob in his griffin area.
Rydia: And tons of rose items...
Rydia: The little @}-,-`-- things.

Ouch: What do you think of other players in general?
Rydia: I like the players on here haha.
Rydia: They talk a lot of trash, it's awesome.
Ouch: What do you like the most about other players?
Rydia: I really like how you can bond through text though, it's odd.
Ouch: For example? How can you bond on text that you can not do elsewhere?
Rydia: I don't know.
Rydia: The socials are cool.
Ouch: Yeah I really like how the socials mix in to make it look like they are actually happening in the game.
Rydia: You can give people gifts.
Rydia: And just hmmm.
Rydia: It's just great!
Ouch: Is there anything that you have ever done on AA that you truly regret?
Rydia: Getting Vivi deleted.
Ouch: Has anyone ever done something to you on AA that you still remember? Good or bad?
Rydia: I remember everything on this game, good or bad.
Rydia: Like right now, someone is challenging me in pk. I always beat them and they lie about killing me, hehe.
Ouch: Care to share intense moments? Things others did to you?
Rydia: Hmmm.
Ouch: Like were people real mean to you when you started? Were they nice?
Rydia: Hmmm.
Rydia: Well when I first started, none of these people were here mostly.
Rydia: Keiser was.
Rydia: And Kaoken.
Rydia: When I watched Melody and Elm play from their room, I thought Keiser and Kaoken were the coolest.
Rydia: They always auctioned all these really good items.
Rydia: But now, I'm better than all of them.
Rydia: And I run multi million gold player shops.
Rydia: Funny.
Rydia: A cool moment when I first started was when I was a newbie.
Rydia: I found over 50 million gold in a talon corpse.
Rydia: I tried to steal it and keep it in my bank and log off.
Rydia: I told my sister (Melody) and she told someone.
Rydia: And Dentin stole it from my bank.
Ouch: What is your personal advice for newbies (true beginners of the game)?
Rydia: I think if you ask the right people for help, you can really enjoy the game.
Rydia: I personally would ask myself, just because I help newbies all the time and I help them better than most of the other people who try to help.
Rydia: I take the time to show them stuff, and I even help some people out with gold or finding weapons or giving them weapons and such.
Rydia: But I don't show them to the extent that I am doing all the work.
Rydia: I was thinking to let their dreams become a reality.
Rydia: Let them do the imagination.
Ouch: Vivi ! How can you say all this? When I was a newbie we teamed together as I was halfway done with the "lay the soul of the king to rest" deed... And you ran away with the key I needed to continue!!! You left me there to wait 20 minutes for a re-pop !!!
Rydia: Lol, you didn't ask for help.
Ouch: That's right you did ! You said you needed the quest ! Rofl
Rydia: Hah, it was all in fun and games.
Rydia: I killed the king and dropped the key.
Ouch: No - you left the area altogether.
Ouch: I never forgot you after that.
Rydia: Yeah, it was awesome.
Ouch: What do you think of the new asshole thing that has newbies ignoring you automatically and anyone else that high of an asshole factor?
Rydia: Oh, no, the new ignore thing is glitched or something.
Rydia: NOONE in the game can hear or see you.
Ouch: Not just newbies?
Rydia: Not just newbies anymore.
Ouch: So how do you contact people?
Rydia: I had to tell everyone to type ignore allow Rydia just for them to hear me.
Rydia: I used a multi to tell people to ignore allow me.

Rydia: You know, you should really get to know me and see what kind of awesome friend I can be.
Rydia: I've changed my attitude towards the game and players a lot.
Rydia: I've been working on advertising banners and making websites.
Rydia: I have been reading all the posts, all the blogs, and looking up MUD search sites to try to get us on the top 100.
Rydia: In fact, try to advertise www.topmudsites.com/vote-dentin.html and tell Dentin to update it on his part. If everyone votes, we can be top 100, top 50, and hopefully top 10.

If anyone is wondering why The Ralnoth Times picked Rydia as the multi character to interview? Well, Vivi was deleted and though Porom is now at the top of the list, he is perma-silenced by the gods and would not have been able to answer questions. So Rydia was the next multi in line (not to mention, a well known one).
As a special note, The Ralnoth Times contacted several players and gods regarding some statements that Rydia/Vivi claimed during this interview. We are hereby posting one reply, from Dentin.
