What is better a low or high armor class?  Does AA run like second ed d&d???

a lower armor class is better.

Objects that have the affect AC: by 7 will actually give you a lower armor class.
Objects that have the affect ARMOR by -7 will also give you a lower armor class.

Try 'help 2.armor' for a better explanation

yes a lower armor class is what you want. most players probably have around -100 to -200 in their 'solo' sets.
